Farmer-Led Agriculture for America's Food Future
Farmers Alliance Exchange (FAX) is building a hemp, farm energy and local food economy in Iroquois County, Illinois.

Our Mission

Our Mission
Farmers Alliance Exchange LLC is an agriculture company led by Mrs. Lindsey Faulk, Founder and Managing Director. We grow food that strengthens health, restores ecosystems and builds enduring food resilience, supported by integrated rail, storage and clean energy systems.

What We Do
Industrial Hemp
We are bringing industrial hemp for fiber and grain to Iroquois County, starting with a 20- to 50-acre pilot planned for 2027. At full build-out, the plan uses about 5,000–6,000 acres, less than 1% of county cropland.
A Buyer for Hemp Acres
FAX plans to buy hemp from area growers under signed contracts and is preparing to apply for an Illinois industrial hemp processor license.
Farm Biomass Energy
We are developing a combined heat-and-power concept that turns crop residue and hemp processing byproducts into local heat and power.
Farmer-Owned Co-op Grocery
Together with area family farms, we are planning a farmer-owned co-op grocery and food hub to bring local beef and vegetables to small-town stores.
Seven Generations on Iroquois County Soil
Iroquois County is Illinois' #1 county for total agricultural sales. Our founder's family has farmed here for seven generations, and we carry that heritage of stewardship into every project. We believe the families who work this land should share in the value it creates.
